Re: New Alfa on Saturday.....

Lovely car Chris, I'm a big fan of the Giulietta and Mito - fab looking cars in my opinion.

We need to arrange a Midlands meeting soon at The Great Northern to show off your new car!

Will you be going to Race Retro on Sunday Feb the 28th to meet up with the other CAF members?

All the best,
Julian.

What a really interesting car for it's time (or indeed now) - actually had an electric motor for reverse.

Re: The Puzzle Post!

Good one Bryan, The rear lights are from a MK1 Cortina which could suggest a 60's race car with a Ford connection?

Looks quite bespoke so maybe a special one off TVR as they were also using the MK1 Cortina lights on their 60's Grantura MkIV around this time.

Anywhere near?

Re: 16v Carb Mainfold and Twin 40's

Jube: I'm going to move ahead with the di-Michele manifold... Are you ready to order? Or are you sorted? Hi Justin, I had a reply from Di-michele and the only thing that they are willing to do on 2 sets of manifolds is to send them together thus saving on their delivery costs. This would obviously ...

Re: 16v Carb Mainfold and Twin 40's

Hi Justin, I've already got Twin Dellorto 40's from a 1.7 8v engine, which i'll transfer over with minor revisions to the jetting.

I'll email Di Michele again today to try and get a discounted price for 2 sets of manifolds.

Re: 16v Carb Mainfold and Twin 40's

Yes, I need them ASAP too.

How about I contact Di Michele (Who I've already communicated with) to try and beat their €288.99 delivered to UK price and maybe you can try and beat the £200 delivered price that Shrew has been quoted by Motorman?

How does that sound to you?

Hi Justin,
I'm also after a pair of 16v Carb Manifolds (from either Motorman or Di Michele), so maybe we could get a bit of discount on 2 sets?

Cheers,
Julian.

Re: Alfasud Sprint Roll Cage

Thanks for the replies chaps. Chris: I knew about the OMP Roll Cage (which is not too badly priced) but not the Sparco Cage - I'll have to do some research on the Sparco item. Thanks for the info. Liam: I've sent you a Private Message regarding your Sprint Roll Cage. (I know a Sud roll cage doesn't ...

Re: Alfasud Sprint S1

Hi Chris, I'd prefer something that needs relatively minor cosmetic work - Rust is my (and any classic Alfa owner's) enemy. I'm not really bothered about the mechanical side of things, especially the engine as I want to fit a 1.7 16v engine to it. I'll be using the Sprint on track so I'll also be re...

Re: Alfasud Sprint 16v Conversion Parts

Hi Chris, thanks for the reply.

I was hoping that maybe someone who was on the carb adapter group buy had changed their minds.

Otherwise, I'll be buying a new set from Di Michele in Germany too.

I've also had a good chat with Shrew about all of my conversion options.

Thanks again.

Alfasud Sprint S1

Hi Everyone,
I'm after a chrome bumpered Alfasud Sprint.

Ideally red, white, black or silver and without a sunroof.

I'd prefer the car to be in reasonable condition but anything considered as they're getting rare now days.

Thanks all.

Hi John, thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure the Trofeo interior was Black and Grey? Which wouldn't unfortunately go with my Brown dash. I'm really after Beige seats as these came with the Brown plastic door cards which match the dash. I'd consider anything that goes with my Brown dash and carpet ...

Sprint S1 Seats & Door Cards

Hi All,
As the title says I'm after a good useable set of seats and door cards for my chrome bumper Sprint.

I'd ideally like them to be Beige but as they're a rare item I'd consider any colour.

If so, what colour and condition are they in please?

Congratulations Shrew / Kev on getting the forum up and running - looks great and I hope you're both keeping well. One suggestion which I think would be really nice to have on the site is a dedicated Projects section. This is always my favourite part of any car related forum that I visit. (I know yo...
