James, suggest you add a distributor cap to your shopping list. There were different ones, Bosch, Marelli, Ducellier Someone will be able to recognise yours? I have a dizzy cap you are more than welcome to have. My car is a Bosch distributor and this cap doesn’t fit, so I presume it’s either a Mare...

My 19 year old son loves it as do some of his pals.
A good mate has a Fiat X1/9 and his similarly aged daughter loves it too. There is hope!!

Old cars being people together.....
Just want to tell a wee tale from the other night which made me smile. Took the Sprint out for a quick whirl as I do as I think cars should move not sit stationary. Anyway, stupid arse here mis-judged it and ran out of fuel but thankfully only a short walk from the nearest petrol station.....🤦♂️ Wa...

Any car audio experts here?
Wonder if we have any car audio experts on here that can help with a little query. I have a VDO CD571X head unit that I have pressed in to use in the Sprint. Slightly unusual perhaps, but a bit of digging shows them to be a big OEM supplier and to be fair it sounds pretty decent. This unit dates - I...

I agree Kev
However I actually think this site is simply a bit of an undiscovered gem.
Old Alfa seem to be on a bit of an upward trajectory. This site seems to tick along in the background without the recognition it deserves

Pair inlet manifold in good condition, 40mm inlet so from 1.7 head. Can only find one plastic spacer and will have a look for the other, but cannot guarantee it still exists.. Located central Scotland, price advertised inc postage within UK but open to reasonable offers as no real benchmark as to th...

I have been looking for a Sipea 0444 for ages. Do you still have one?
Does anybody know what the code after the 0444 means? I have seen 6J, 6F and 7L.
Either that or a schematic of an 0444 would be a help in the quest to find an equivalent.......

I bought this as a spare in the event mine did not work post-restoration, but is not required. In good condition and worked when I connected to my car. I think this one may be from a 1.5 as is slightly different to my 1.7 panel. I have however robbed it of some bulb holders (as you will see from pic...

I have a set of seatbelts and buckles - Britax - which look as though they came from a Sud or Sprint. In good condition with any marks purely age related. Also 2 Sprint door armrests in good condition, grey colour so probably from a later model. In both instances I have no idea as to their worth so ...

Anyone near Blackpool - can I ask your help
HI folks Hope you don't mind, especially given it is a non-alfa related matter. My dad has just verbally committed to a car in Blackpool with the proviso it checks out ok. I am in Glasgow so its not easy to get down to check it out. Would someone be kind enough to give the car a cursory once over fo...

Lost/misplaced some bits. Help?
In the true spirit of a prize arse, I would appear to have mislaid some bits and can't find these for love nor money. Does anybody have spare the check strap, spring and bar for the bonnet? Also need the rubber 'flaps' that cover the hole through the inner wing the steering arms go through, plus the...

Anybody after some? I know they are not worth much, but if I can recoup some of what my naivety cost me I will be happy. Tyres are on them, but certainly not roadworthy. Probably ideal for someone making a showcar. Cosmetically not brilliant (one comical) but no damage and no buckles. I saw someone ...

Yes agreed, this should be very interesting :) A lot of these programs are a joke to be honest aren't they, those of us who do this type of work all know how many hours it takes on the bodywork on these cars given the construction methods and the lack of panels etc. Like its already been said all p...
