I think I have one it was from shrew it was meant to be for a sud took nearly year before we finally arranged to meet up got it back and it didn’t fit it’s to tall so we think it must be a sprint one . I’m down on the south coast

Yes customer would never even be told it was done during a service or if they complain of tyre wear they really needed solid bushes to stop movement
So if any one has a stillo or Fiat multiplier polybush the front end would help no end

Apart from fiat stillos it was a factory fix for tyre wear to loosen lower arm bolts whilst on ramp and retorque bolts bushes where so soft it would preload them and stiffen them up Same works for a lot of Audi’s and vdubs with multi link suspension with knocking noises you can’t find But as a gener...

As kev said pictures would be good I did check the mot history and no previous advisory’s on rust so it been hiding under the sealer it’s floors and inner sills that it failed on

I’ve got lots to say on wax and polish but it’s not got here there’s lots of forums for sort of arguments I’m all for car cleaning but put the word detailing in and I’m of on a rant same for technicians I’m happy to be a called a grease monkey or mechanic

Body shops love silicon we have a body shop and mechanical workshop they don’t like my silicon spray near there oven intake

Just been looking at mot history likes wiper blades and tyres sounds like rack or column needs looking at and it’s been a year since test but looks nice and clean would be interested depending where you are based

Driving a classic is most probably better than buying new as production of new cars is where most of the pollution is produced I’am fairly confident my VW t25 is carbon neutral now as it’s on a second hand engine and gearbox all the tyres are part worn from ones I save at work and apart from service...

I've got a 1.4 135bhp mito with 50000 miles and had from 30000 and it sounds very quiet even when cold it's full history and oil has always been 5w40 fully synthetic they don't hold much oil so if not checked it's easy for it to get low

Sprint front screen

Finally collected front screen for my Sud only to discover it's a sprint one so doesn't fit it's got a small chip which I will repair so it won't spread but not a mot fail
I paid £80 for it but open to offers

I've had the same thing on two cars resently you can't tax a car that is already taxed so until dvla has prosesed the log book and made you the new owner and refunded the previous owner the outstanding tax , you can then tax it online or at the post office .If the vehicle is sorn then as long as it'...

No luck so far I've got two koni coil over front struts for 944 turbo I thought air flow meter might have been stashed with them but it's not I'am afraid to report

I've found one of the air flow meters but it's the wrong one and has five wires and air temp sensor I will look at work for Porsche one as I've got some other bits from it so it might be hiding there

I did have a Porsche 944 turbo one from a 1989 silver rose 240 Bhp model but not sure if I kept it that's why I will check part numbers
