Single carb heads....fit for spares only but free

We finally got around to stripping an old 1.5ti single carb engine that had been under a tarpaulin since 1986!! Yes, I am ashamed.

Anyhow, one head has got some water in and is corroded, the other is ok .

Before putting them in the scrap bin, I thought I'd see if anyone wanted them to take out the valves or cam bucket adjusters etc just to hold for spares?

There is also the carb, would possibly rebuild but most likely fit for spares only.

Not sure how good the cams are, but they are there if needed.

All free if anyone wants to salvage the reusable bits off them.

Also, do you have the intake plenum and carb for this engine too ? Willing to pay of course

Chris, according to my dad who stripped the engine, one head is too far corroded to save.

I'll have a look myself at the weekend and let you know but he's seen enough to know what he is doing so I'm not optimistic it will be any good.

I think there may be an inlet manifold, I will check with him.

Not in a rush, its just that I had to convert one of those engines with Ti heads and twin carb conversion, which isnt ideal if you want to keep a car as genuine as possible

Heads corrosion was the issue with me too. Couldnt find anything good enough to work with

Chris, one head is definitely scrap, the other isn't great so not worth the effort for you.

I need to check the carb and manifold condition , but will let you know once I've seen them.

I actually need the manifold that has the rectangle seating for the carb which mounts with 4 nuts
