Your wish is my command!

I have briefly spoken to Chris about the possibility of me importing it to the uk if he can strike a good enough deal for it, so you never know Ralf,

You never know :)

With those hub caps I am guessing this is a very very early car.

It could even be one of the first four speed cars and to find a right hand drive one in any condition would be remarkable.

Love the early saloons with chrome caps and simple interiors. The Alfasud as Huruska intended and in it purest form.

Here is a similar car in lovely period verde ischia.
Alfasud verde ischia.jpg
Ischia being a picturesque volcanic outcrop/island in the Bay of Naples.

Indeed all the original Alfasud paint colours were named after land marks or places in the Naples area of Italy and verde ischia was one of them. The original Alfasud saloon brochure issued in June 1972 has a car in this colour on the cover.

Quite a find! It would be great if it comes to the UK to add to our growing collection of Series 1's.

Just remembered, there is even a nice 1:24 scale model of this car often available from Ebay Italy.

For anyone that is interested here is the link to an Ebay listing for this model. Very nice detailing and not expensive!

What a fantastic find!! looks about a '74 model and although covered in dust the storage climate look perfect, sheltered from the sun, plenty of air has been able to get round it and in an excellent climate to start with, it looks totally original and needs to be kept that way really, good find, well done Chris ;)
