That's a bit of a funny sud ti series 2 on the outside ie bumpers spoilers and wheel arches but series one on the inside ie dashboard and seats..
Still worth buying though.
I used to have years ago in that colour a sud tis which had series 3 lights rear spoiler and arches but series 2 inside ie seats and dash.

There were quite a few cars like that back in the day, it was at the change over period, there sort of a series 1 1/2 !! I can only think that Alfa must have had a quantity of Series 1 interiors to burn off

all the cars seem to be on 'V' plates usually in the UK

They pretty much only exist in rhd. The reason being that they made the facelift on the lhd model first. The same goes with the S3 with the S2 dash. I have never seen a lhd in that combo

The ti I had was a w reg 1.5 ti which had series 3 rear spoiler front , series 3 front lights and rear lights but still had the little boot that hinges upwards.

It's a strange one. It wasn't registered until Jan '79 but still has the S1 dash. My Super was manufactured in Dec '77, registered in Aug '78 but has the S2 dash.

could well have left the factory with an S2 dash and been changed sometime over the last 35 or so years.
although i'd love to take it on the thought of starting off fresh again isn't to be taken lightly, 2 or 3 years of commiting to getting it back to 100% isn't an appealing prospect.
anyone on here got designs on it?

I can only imagine how bad the 'A' posts / bulkhead etc. will be, mine looked to be in very good shape until digging deeper
Its clear this car has been standing outside a long time & it suits someone who will be doing his own work and is aware it will take years to complete and get it right, its not a light or medium restoration on this it a full blown bare shell job. I hope it ends up in the right hands and is saved.
I had a series 1 Ti that I sold to Austria a few years ago, it was registered in 1979 and on a 'T' plate and had a series 1 dash, it was an original old thing with history so there was definitely a substantial change over period.
This green Ti to me if restored would be best off loosing the series 2 bumpers and body trims and becoming a complete series 1 Ti..... unless the wiring shows the dash has been changed from a series 2 one

If someone on here did win it, I have a series 2 dashboard and dash binacle/guages. Also two front seats, the outer covers of which may be salvageable (the layer of foam behind the material has disintegrated). Also have rear spoiler:)

It was won by a guy in Liverpool, who bought it for parts, so it probably won't survive, - shame.
John.

a shame if it ends up for parts but was always likely given the extent of corrosion.
agree though, a lot of money for a parts car.
