Alfa 33 16v new CSC exhaust centre section for sale

Post by dickyb »

Brand new CSC performance exhaust centre section for Alfa 33 16v, still in original packaging. Now surplus to requirements as I've decided to retain the cat setup on my car, normal price is around £160, looking for £80.

Hi mate

i think the price is great, its just that no-one wants to run a centre box anymore!

no system ive been asked to make over the last few years have included the centre box, with all those customers perferring to to hear things a bit more.

bloomin cheap at £70 though, even in mild steel, someone should snap it up,

partiucularly as it could easily be made to fit sud and sprint aswell remember

good luck Dicky

ok well I'll leave you boy racers to go deaf then!

Seriously though, CSC exhausts are excellent quality, everything is developed on a dyno for proven results (unlike many stainless steel exhausts - I appreciate that you know your onions though Shrew), they are a perfect fit and give a better sound without being too loud.

Funny thing is, it just might go very well on ebay, at the right time, its just like that sometimes, but the trouble is you'll be up against the likes of ETS etc, who have centre sections for little more than £25 ! :o

Admittedly, they are likely crap, but hey, in this day and age a lot of folk don't seem to mind crap at the right price! :(

Probably why i'm not building exhausts every week too Dicky, the price of exhaust compared to purchase price of car, it makes it a struggle to justify for a lot of owners.

Incidentally though, my manifolds and systems have done a fair bit of dyno time by now Dicky, aswell as real world race and road miles respectivley too. Just dropping that point in! ha ha!

Good luck whichever way you go, but yes, this should really have been snapped up by now i would have thought :?:

oh yeah, I know your stuff is top notch and well proven, please don't think I was in any way dissing your work. I was referring to all the generic stainless stuff that's out there, although its probably good value I don't see how a monkey copying the original system can possibly claim any power increases, particularly without any research into what works best. As I'm sure you've found, you need to make something then tweak the design to get it right, they aint gonna do that at Longlife et al.
