With not enough space and too many cars we are considering selling our S3 ‘83 1300 Sprint. I’ve seen some wild prices recently but don’t really have a solid idea of what the car is worth or where the market is going.

I bought the car for my wife in 1989, 1 previous owner. It’s a London registration and was told at NAD that HLB reg cars came direct from the London Alfa Romeo showroom…

The car is not perfect or anywhere close to concourse standard, it needs cosmetic work (headlining, drivers seat side bolster fabric etc) but we have had work done on it in the past. See: viewtopic.php?p=8445#p8445 and I did an all fluids change just before this years NAD.

What’s the consensus guys an values? Finger in the air ball park figures and is the market strong at the moment?

Put it on Ebay, and let them bid like mad on it?

And hope they turn up with the dosh!

All feels a bit random, a rusty heap sud number of months ago £4500 if I remember, the black one in a derelict ex car service garage ? The 2 red ones £3k, the silver 4 door just over £1k. The green ti reduced to £7995.

I think Dave has a point re let it bid, I think a green 1300 sprint sold a while back and it was advertised around £7k

I personally would write a good advert, some decent photos, post the link around a few suitable forums / groups which allow it, and see how it goes.

..........but what's the value?

Long term ownership/structurally solid/ smartly presented/ becoming rare and desirable.

£8-10 k perhaps.

............or maybe more?
