33 16v complete engines

Post by 81sprint »

Posted on one of the other forums, thought I might ask here as well.

I'm looking for at least two complete 16v engines in running or nearly running condition.

Located in Australia, what would I expect to pay in the UK per engine?

Would also be interested in heads, blocks etc. if in good condition.

Thanks,
Leon

£200+ for complete engines for 16V ones anyway.

shipping might be a bit pricey mind :D
Giulietta JTD 170
Lancia Delta integrale
Lancia Flavia coupe 1.8 1963
Lancia Dedra turbo
Maserati 3200GT

I'm bad with people things
But I should have tried more

They will be going via slow sea freight, do you know any breakers or people that would be willing to deal with an os transaction?

Thanks,
Leon

Try John, justsuds, he will likely have stock of the engines, and the facility for shipping on a pallet wouldnt be too much trouble fir him either I should think.

Mind you, I doubt they would be at the 200 quid mark though. Just my opinion but I wouldnt sell one today for less than 400, theyre getting pretty tough to find these days, in a working order anyway.

Try him though, im sure he'd look after you as best he can for a 2 engine deal :P

Are these for a V8 project? - the flat 8 project seems to have gone quiet recently....

I've seen the flat 8 quite a few times in the workshop. Nothing happening, the owner funding the project has lost interest. The worst thing is a beautiful Sprint body has had the rear floor chopped out for nothing.

The owner of the flat 8 has another Sprint at the back of the work shop. I wanted the front guards for my car but Roy the workshop owner says no the owner will never part with them. I did take one slightly rusty guard a washer bottle and a door trim from another Sprint. The second destroyed engine for my 33 came from there as well.

Thanks for the "flat 8" update Ricky.
Will Leon (81Sprint) post again about his plans for the 16V engines?
