Alfasud Sprint S1 Wiring Diagrams

Post by Jube »

Hi All,
I'm currently getting my Sprint ready for the road and MOT after a 10 month rest. (I've been starting her and moving her about regularly)

I haven't however been testing all of the electrical functions of the car and now I have a few gremlins.

I have fixed a number of the problems by removing, cleaning, repairing and reseating fuses, relays, connectors and grounds.

I do still however have no indicators/hazard warning lights and a horn. I'm suspecting the relay underneath the steering column for the indicators/hazard warning problem and will remove and check/clean up next.

I really could do with a Sprint S1 wiring diagram and Fuse (10 fuses) / Relay location diagrams.

Does anyone know where I can get these from please? I've scowered all of the internet and found Alfasud and Sprint S3 Wiring Diagrams and Workshop Manuals but nothing for the S1. I've also got a Haynes Manual which doesn't really help either.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Im afraid im as useless as the Haynes bog roll this time round jube,

I dont have anything relating to that at all, but I think your method so far will eventually reveal the issue.

Are you metering as you go, voltage, contniuity etc, Or pulling apart, tracing and cleaning as you go?

Hi Mate, thanks for the speedy reply.

I wasn't able to check any voltages or continuity as I didn't unfortunately have my Fluke Meter with me when working on the car at my Mums.

I will however make sure that I'm better equipped for my next visit. The correct Wiring Diagrams and Fuse/Relay Location Diagrams would make the job a lot easier though.

Cheers.

dodgy connections.

the horns are in a vulnerable place under the arches, give them a clean and a tap with the hammer.

check voltage at the flasher unit, could be just the unit packed up.

anything useful on here?
