...But that rather answers the question, doesn't it? Alfasud bonnet is hinged at the front

Actually, this reminded me - wasn't there an Alfa 156 or some such converted into a mobile BBQ? I seem to recall seeing it at NAD... it looked pretty convincing as a car, not sure how good the food was!

autolusso did one with a 156 front end that they took around for doing burgers, a grill where the engine should be.
much more reliable than a twin spark
