Wheels, wheels and more wheels

Post by Veesix75 »

I seem to have accumulated far too many alloy wheels so would like to move some on.

I have 5 13 inch revolution 5 spoke as fitted series 1 33's good condition and fitted with Yokohama a048 track day tyres, 2 good and 2 usable. Only downside is that they are painted pinky orange.

I have another 5 of the above, good condition, no tyres, 3 silver, one gold and one primer.

I then have 6 of the 13 inch campantura (?? The multi spoke ones as fitted to gold cloverleafs etc), tyres fitted to all so useful for shuffling cars around but I wouldn't use the tyres in anger , good condition alloy, presentable silver paint from 6 feet away :D

I then have 4 quite nice 6 spoke aftermarket wheels in a star type design, 13 inch again and a cheap and cheerful brand but they actually look ok. Might suit a punto or similar .

Give me a shout if anyone wants any, price will be reasonable / sensible but don't expect less than scrap value...

Hi Tim

i recall seeing those towers of tyres on my last visit! :)

we could do with knowing the widths Tim,

are they 6, 7, or 8j?

count me as interested if you have any 13 x 7j or 8j's, or any bigger stuff such as 14 and especially 15's?

Hey, you know what they say Shrew.....size isn't everything!

I'm afraid they are all standard sizes, so 6j for the Revos and 5.5 for the others.....a girth that doesn't cut the mustard for your good self.....

A similar tower has grown and self multiplied in my shed, but the 14 and 15 inch Revos are staying put for now.

It's the tiddlers I have for sale.

My girth seems to all be in the wrong place these days Tim! lol! :o

We're better for knowing the sizes though, spot on.

So if i recall, they are Compomotive MS1360 then, and RFX in 5.5j, would that be right?

I will take your word on it shrew, they are the RFX wheel, I may have imagined 6j, but if they came as standard fit in 5.5j then that will be them and you will know better than me.

I will check at the weekend but I'm sure you will be right.

Which ones, the salmon ones with tyres, or the silver, gold and primer set?

May be a few days before I can post pics so bear with me.

Here is a pic of one wheel, the rest are the same condition.

A pic of a good tyre (2 as good as this, possibly 3 need to check), hardly used, they are yoko a048, a semi race tyre, retail at about £100 each.

A pic of a worn tyre, (2 worn like this, possibly a track day left in them, good for fronts only, wouldn't use these on the rear)

Tyres have always been dry stored in a warm garage.

Hi veesix

I am interested in the revo's.

Could you pm me a price for the ones with tyres, the ones without, and for all the revo's please?
Whereabouts are you in the world so I can factor collection in and maybe a contact number so we can discuss maybe?

All the revolutions are sold and will end up at a good home......although they might have a hard life!

Just those multi finned thingys to go now, surely someone wants some winter wheels, or track day wheels, or just some wheels........?

If you don't have any takers for the Multi Finned thingy's, or you get sick of moving them round, i could always make use of them to roll something around on Tim, but only once you've exhausted all the usual options mate, i don't actually need them, but can always find a corner or use for wheels :P
