One year on!

Post by Fiatchris »

Well, today is the one year anniversary of my return to Sud ownership after a 15 year gap of lesser Alfas (147/GTV/155) within a week I was followed to work by an odd bloke in a van...... :D
My experiment being, have what I want as I travel 8 miles to work and 8 miles back and have a normal family car at weekends, so far it has worked! The car has tiny running costs, hardly cost anything to buy and is seemingly going up in value! I have done 8000 miles with only a flat battery after being on holiday, a suspension arm breaking and the heater blower packing up, not bad eh? Might service it for its birthday!

That's right! we craned engines into various cars in the middle of the night! Brilliant stuff! In the late 90s early 2000s my Sud sprint and X 19 were my everyday cars, used to go out with both sets of keys and went to work in the one that started!!!! Had X 19 for 12 years and sprint only went because of some @#+= drove into it and killed it...... which company makes the APU for the Euro fighter???? ;)
