Pretty sure I can't make it now.

1. Still have an unmissable evening appointment which may drag on.

2. Alfetta has non working rear N/S indicator. Thought I'd permanently cured this last year after lots of hassle and intermittent operation. This could take hours to sort out and it's currently raining.

3. Celica temporarily off road, waiting for Brake Pads and the ones on it right now are completely shot.

Bah bloody humbug.

I'll be there in the Sprint providing the weather's not too bad. Otherwise it'll be the 159.

It is a bit of a drive, - but this is THE best forum, - worthy of support, apathy is all too easy to fall victim to. Anybody whose wavering, - make the effort ! Unfortunate if Nige is not there, I was going to bring the 'possible' Alfetta headlights, shall I anyway Nige ? - is there going to be somebody there who could pass them on ?
Cam cover Shrew ?

Thanks Joe & John.

Still raining hard here so have not been able to get outside to look at the Indicator. I suppose it COULD be just the Bulb but not usually that lucky. In the past it's been an Earth problem and despite thinking, several times, that I'd sorted it out it usually failed hours or days later. Last year I gave up and wired in a new Earth direct to the Bulb Holder but here we go again..........

John. You could leave the Headlamps with Kev if he's agreeable, can sort out to meet up with him sometime soon. Just need the Outer ones with the Sidelight built in. Cheers.

Oh what a night!

freakin awesome first meet night for the forum,

blinding success is the best way i can describe it!

mates, cars, food, drink, nuff said!

top marks, and extra extra extra forum respect to John, Justsuds, who took an almighty 4 hours to get there following an incident on the A1 that had him stationary for ages, and still turned up smiling, and with a boot full of parts to keep the awaiting crowd of classic owners happy!

members don't get better than that folks, take heed! :D

Forum future discussed of course, plans afoot, and most importantly, recreation of tonights success.

watch this space, announcements of more and similar events will arise, and all suggestions are welcome.

Thanks to all that attended,

Myself, Kev, Joe, Graeme, Chris, Julian, Phil, John, Josh & Sophie, Neil, & Le, etc

Great cars, and even better people,

Thank you from all at CAF

Hi All

Tony, Sud 145, is holidaying up this neck of the woods as he did previously , so we said we'd have a meet to honour his efforts so to speak! :D

Thursday July 17th i think it was looking back at the thread, so i think same venue and event for that date for starters.

If it suits enough folk travel wise, there is an alternative venue, more into the lincoln direction.

Its the White Hart at North Scarle, and is currently being run by Damo, who was at the time the manager of the Great Northern Inn where we have just met, the very first Pint n Pizza meet we did back over in the dark ages! lol!

He's up and ready for us whenever we want to go, just a bit of warning to get some extra toppings in for me, and another dozen Merlot in for Joe! ;)
