We’ve had a 170bhp 1.4 Giulietta for 9 years, it’s been great mechanically and is quick and economical, it’s a 2013 plate but I’ve been thinking of changing it for one of the last 2020 plate Giulietta’s, before the lunatics force us all to electric or bare foot.
However only realised when looking at a 2020 Sprint version that the last ones are all 120bhp, so assume not multi-air. Petrols not diesels (but you all knew that
Has anyone got experience of the 120bhp TB’s, will we find it a bit gutless after the 170bhp version and are they as reliable as I’ve found the multi-air to be?
Off piste a bit, but I’d really like Mrs Veesix to have an Abarth 595 instead of the Giulietta. However she says they are too small for shopping (takes her mum) and with 2 doors and size a compromise for rear passengers. I did counter that she hardly ever has anyone in the back but to be fair we have offspring at home and they do travel with us. Plus the Giulietta has been great for airport and holiday runs and gobbles up suitcases.
Anyhow, enough boring stuff about shopping and suitcases, similar anyone on here had an Abarth 595 and if so how did you find it?
My daughter has a 500, so I might take Mrs veesix and her mum to Aldi in it and stack the weekly shop in to prove her wrong
Thanks in advance
