twin carb air box

Post by chriswilliams »

I currently don't have the hot air feed from the exhaust fitted to my twin carb.
This presumably means that the temperature flap never moves into the normal run position.

Does this matter? The run position has a bigger hole so maybe lets in more sir?

Should I fix the flap in the run position or just take it out?

Regards,

Chris.

Should only really affect it if running in colder condtions to help prevent carb icing, better off with it drawing in cooler air for the warmer months that these are usually on the road.
