The last few years, i've been on a real retro trip, mainly because most of todays stuff is just utter Shite!

I like your choice Joe, but it just goes to show, that you have to go a little underground (again!) to find the good stuff, you know, talented musicians etc whatever the taste or flavour.


Kev will probably appreciate my recent return to my choice of Van CD input, but ive gone back to The Stone Temple Pilots

a band i've only fairly recently stumbled across, from gary numan of all links.

but they do produce some inspirational stuff.

some a bit weird, some a bit "not for family airing" but i do like it. especially on a long drive, but it's hard to not get taken away with it all.

one day the inner demons that lurk within will get released

it's great stuff for when you're trying to concentrate on something, or just need to chill whilst painting soemthing. NIN aren't quite the right guys for that

Class act NiN, been going some years now eh mate!

today, whilst fitting a head unit into a Mk1 Golf cabbie for the better halfs mate, to try the cd player out and balance up the speakers, she had De La Soul in the glove box, so that stayed on for quite a few tracks, and once i'd done, and returned home, i was back into what sounds like a shoe cupboard backing onto the Monsters of Rock stage!

My middle lad, Niall, something of a guitar hero at just 14, has just discovered Planet Rock via the Xbox online, and plays it through his 1.2kw guitar amp and 4 x 12" speaker cab!

Its all my fault, i bought all the over the top equipment, and hooked his Xbox up to it all, and told him about Planet Rock, so i shouldn't moan, and don't really,


besides, it would only sound like jealousy!
