Black, bad... boxer!!!

Post by the Manta »

Hi,

I'm Giovanni and I'm from Italy, I'm owner of a 1988 Alfa Romeo Sprint 1.7 carbs.

I found it in a old stable, stopped from a lot of years (I think 15 or more), and I found it with a forklift. I brought it at my home with a carriage, I bought a book for car mechanics and I started the restauration.

Engine, brakes and so on, and seats etc, I did all with my hand, me and my wife and my sons...

I don't finished the restauration yet, but the car is on the road and I did some reliability trial and some track day.

The next times I post some photoes of my restauration history and some races...

I have a perfect knowledge of the English language, so the blame for all the mistakes you'll find is the Google Translator!!! :D :D :D

I think they are a Speedline, which were originally fitted to the other European market cars, such as the 75, the rather oddball 1.6ie!

If i recall they were only 13" so must have looked diddy on a 75, much nicer on a sprint! :P

I'm afraid, I don't understand so much english, so I have a little difficult to found the right section of the forum where insert my post... :D :D :D
