Clutch
I need a new clutch for my Sprint. Would make sense to change it when the engine is out anyway. Is there any reson to choose a Sachs over a Valeo?
Re: Clutch
not really in standard trim, both will be more than good enough.SteffenJ3316V wrote:I need a new clutch for my Sprint. Would make sense to change it when the engine is out anyway. Is there any reson to choose a Sachs over a Valeo?

Re: Clutch
Hopefully I will get around 145 bhp with the 16v but I guess both will be up for the job

Re: Clutch
i take it you're buying a clutch kit suitable for a 16v 33, to fit to your sprint, and not just a sprint clutch.
either way, you'll probably find that valeo made at least the friction plate no matter whose other name is on the box.
ive seen ap, borg and beck, LUK, QH, and possibly sachs for that matter, all with Valeo parts inside the cardboard, and i think it makes little difference whose you buy so long as its a 16v version, it'll be up to the job no problem i'm sure.
