Wow. Now that is my kind of bike - a trike

I was also going to mention that No. 72 was missing a passenger, but perhaps it was a trick of the light...

Hmm!
Here we go, my guess is,
Vauxhall Viva, Ford ..... Consul (possible trick as it may be a Granada), Alpine with a hard top?, not sure of the fourth, Little Triumph? and last is a Ginetta . Not sure of the model but Fiesta based as it used the doors as well.
Thanks for posting Tony, only confident on two. :D

Number 4 is the tricky one Keith. Spot on with the Fiesta doors tho'. Give you the Viva. Alpine with a hard-top. Lol

I once enquired about buying a Ginetta Kit. Not that model but another that looked smaller and more sporty.
Was No 4 British?

The G27 was Ginettas modern take on the classic G4 from the 1960s. Front engine, rear drive, Ford running gear. Later evolved into a Rover V8 powered monster (G33?). There was also a mid-engined G34, which used the transverse CVH out of the Mk3 Escort. Good quality cars in their day, but the styling dated very quickly.

I used to have an HA Viva. I was given it by a work colleague. One of the pistons had been damaged by a broken piston ring. New piston and rings all round and it went great until a valve dropped. Stuffed a 1256 from a Shove-it in (after swapping the smaller 1057 clutch), twin-choke Nikki on a Nova inlet manifold and I was good to go!

Even though it was made in 1966, it really was like driving from another era. Vintage motoring at its best :D

I knew I'd get my numbers mixed up!

Very much the MR2 equivalent in its day, as you say. I saw one at a breakfast club meeting at Goodwood last year, so there are still one or two around...

Don't look at me, I don't know nothing about vintage stuff... that said, it looks suspiciously modern, and a bobtail to boot, is it one of those Liege things? You know, the 2CV powered trials jobbie?

Sorry Keith No 4 is an Austin A40 "Jensen Sport". Jensen made the bodies which were then shipped back to Austin. It was powered by a 1200cc engine so not really sporty. After speaking with the owner I found out that Jensen launched the Healey 100 at one of the big car shows but before the show had ended it was rebranded as the Austin Healey. Got to love silly facts haven't you. The Ginetta was a G30 by the way.

Shrew, Is the engine from another car or all the same make?
I will now try Mazda, as Toyota would be the next obvious choice.

Like I said, I know nothing :D

That Viva HA Deluxe brings back fond memories though - the only car I have ever driven where you could not only see all the switches through the steering wheel, you could operate them through the steering wheel, even the heater

Mine didn't have the (optional extra) external rear view mirrors, so if the back window misted up I had to wind down the window and look behind before pulling out on the motorway...
