Sud lowering

Post by sud_1.5ti »

Hi Folks,
I'm thinking of New lowered Springs for my sud, but i'm Not sure if the Springs i've fitted are already shorter.
On the Front i have measured 33 cm from the center of the Wheel to the wheelarch. In the rear it is 35 cm.
Can anyone in here confirm if this is the Standard Ride height or lowered? I'm thinking of ordering a Set of justsuds Springs but do Not know if it is the Effect i'm After.
Maybe any one has a sud with justsuds Springs and could let me know the measurement from Center to wheelarch?
Thanks a lot
Jan

Hi Jan,
If you have a read of this thread (second page in particular). Sudboy was having this discussion with suspension.
If I remember correctly is your car the White S3 with retro stainless bumpers?
Hope this is of help.

Thanks a lot for your quick answer.
The Link does not work. You mean this one? viewtopic.php?f=3&t=972&start=30
There is a lot of good Information in the Second Page. The car is Great! I Like the Lower Ride height.
Baut the Rear Looks not much lowered to me. Or am i wrong? The Front Looks Perfect to me with the Justsuds Springs.
I will try to measure the height in the back from the pictures.
And yes, my sud is the white s3 ti with the Steel bumpers. Still not 100% finished ;-)

Yes, that is the one.
Sorry I messed up the link.
He levelled out the hight as it sat higher at the rear. Now it sits level.

My S3 was lowered. Not sure who did it but it handles nicely and looks great.
Ian knows about this car so might be able to advise.
