There's loads of steering wheels out there, but the availability of boss's and adaptors for our slightly strange 3 bolt Sud steering column are slim pickings.
I'd got a lovely Momo wheel for Pat's sud, but no boss, but looking at it, i though how hard can it be?
I had an old Mountney wheel with a Sud boss already attached, so i removed that, and ground the profile off the front face so it was flat (if my lathe was up and running i'd work around that as a locater)
Next, i'd got some nice 5mm alloy plate, pretty nice stuff, and measured and marked it up for the Sud pattern and the Momo pattern, and of clourse it would work for any other pcd of mounts too.
Pillar drill, 6mm threads tapped in, an voila, one Momo to Sud adapter plate. The plate mounts in descretely from the back, then the wheel from the front. I spaced the wheel pcd so that it is multi positional for options on alignment, but also in a few position it completely cloaks the plate mounts too just for smartness.
I left the centre of the plate whole, and a nice alfa logo would look the bee's knee's in there, seeing as we don't need the luxury of a horn, this was an easy decision

Finally, not knowing Pats thoughts on interior decorating, rather than paint it, powder coat it, or any covering whatsoever, i assumed safely that i can't go far wrong with a good buff!
So here it is
