The Russian Invasion!

Hi all

It would appear that over the last 24+hrs we have been under a sustained attempt to gain access to the site.

I'm not entirely sure what for, but i strongly suspect its simply to fill the forum with spam and trash adverts and links to all sorts of unsavoury sites.

We've so far managed to fend off the attack i think, but a few had slipped through the net already but have since been dealt with banning and deactivation of accounts.


They appear to have originated from Russia and old associated states and countries according to my research of their IP's and emails address's, so please all be vigilant for me just in case i've missed anything, and let me know if you spot something unusual


and if there anything to click on, for god sake don't, you may be very surprised at what you land on!

I meant to add that in order to quash the account activation attempts i have changed the registration application question to something a little more cryptic for our eastern friends.

If you know of anyone you've pointed towards the site to join up, and the answer manages to escape you, drop me a pm with some details with the applicant and i'll clue you up on it!

Obviously i'm not putting it in the thread!

It could well be a leggy Russian beauty that you first see jon, closely followed by blackmail as they snapshot or record you through your own webcam!

This happened to a friend of mine (no, not me!) Who was filmed enjoying the view a little vigorously, and threatened with the release of the recording to all his facebook contact's list, unless he parted with 1000 pounds!

Guess what happened









He said can i see her again to make it worthwhile, shove your blackmail up yer'arse, then, to warn of the possible facebook humiliation, he rang his mum!

I've had a few mates text me this last week or so saying they've had emails from me on what appears an odd email address, with links that they haven't opened.
not sure if it's anything to do with this or most likely a hark back to when a yahoo address of mine got hacked a few years back.
but if anyone gets an email from me that's a bit strange, or not my usual one then please don't open it
