Best drive home ever!

Post by Fiatchris »

Picked Sud up from BLS on Friday night after them having it for 6 weeks (hunting parts and even having some made!!) having used it daily for two years I was seriously missing it! Having all 5 gears straight away and it stopping was a bonus also! :D
Driving back from Lincoln I was flashed by a Rover P4 , a Capri and an MR2 Mk 1 which was great, then pulling in for petrol a lad (I must be getting old as he looked about 12) pulled up in a blinged Mito, it even had a "wing" on the roof, he came over to me in the shop very excited saying he had "never seen a sud in the flesh"
So all in all, a top return to Alfa driving..... now, about that bodywork.....

They're the days that make it all worthwhile eh Chris.

I've been to Melton and back out on the 606 today, in the van although thats a great thing to drive anyway (sad eh! :P ) and i can't wait for a spirited return in the Sud one day :D

Went to look at an Alfa GT yesterday and the guy didn't know what an Alfasud was !!
I told him to watch Wheeler Dealer
At least the Mito boy knew what they are even if he had never seen one.
