I went today was very good some nice cars there.
Got to say it was the most packed I've ever seen it .
Not many suds about 5 I saw and about 7 33's and 2 sprint I saw.
Will try and post up some pics in a while.

My inevitably late contribution!
I love Brooklands. Easily the highlight of my show calendar, this year had the usual eclectic mix of supercars and lesser Italian classics, all assembled under leaden skies at the historic Brooklands museum. This time I was equipped with my latest commiecam accessory, a Zenitar 16mm fish-eye lens, my trusty Zeiss 24mm wide angle and (for extra commie coolness) a Meyer-Optik Orestor 124mm with x2 converter for the long shots.
Here's what the lens saw...
It's 1974 all over again with this vibrant orange Fezza. Very period grainy shot is mostly due to underexposure. It gets better...
This bizarre machine was constructed on a Ferrari chassis (250 SWB?) by Frua, I think. It belongs to JK, who was later spotted wondering around the Hoyle-Fox stand...
Ahh, if only 15” GTAm Campagnolo replicas were available in 7” rim width and ET15...
Yes, its a Fiat 2300. I've only ever seen a basket case before. This certainly wasn't a basket case!

I love Brooklands. Cream colour Iso Fidia used to belong to John Lennon...
Alex Jupe had his own stand in front of the clubhouse and was getting plenty of passing trade. As well as his own silver GTV6 and the red Alfa 75 on the left there was also this lovely dark purple 2 litre GTV, bumperless and rolling on Compomotive Turbos, no less!
This bizarre Abarth puts a whole new slant on “cab forward” - the driver and passenger is crammed into the nose, with the engine sitting under the bulbous rear deck, complete with dihedral fins! Well-known Alfa 1900 saloon in the background...
Now this was definitely NOT one of the cars JK was prowling around – completely mad in every way, this twin-turbo conversion of a 512BB by Koenig looks like the worst of kit car excess; the Countach from the same stable looks positively understated in comparison...
PUS 375, the Pantera GT5S that provided so much excitement on the test hill in previous years was there again, although for some reason this year the car didn't take to the hill...

...Followed by this superb Series 2. Yes, I know it is flanked by two Murcielagos, but I'm not interested in them – just look at how the watery sunshine reflects off the rear glass hatch!
Superb Lamborghini Islero was back – one of just two non-S models in the country. I'm loving my 16mm lens – you can get really close to the subject so that random people don't wonder into shot, very important if you are using 35mm. Next time I will use the red lens filter though, which helps to pull some of the detail out of the shadows...

Enormous pre-WW1 machine (I've no idea what it is) thundered its way around the track. The engine is so long that the diff is located behind the seats, with a chain drive going forward to the wheels. Outrageous!
Caproni aero-engined beast came over (from Sweden I think) to scare the kiddies again. I tried in vain to get a picture of the flames shooting out of the exhaust on the overrun, but to no avail...
Walking back to the museum I came across this little gem...
Interesting early US-spec Pantera spoiled by oversized aftermarket wheels and DTM mirrors. Iso Lele is in the background...
I love the way the Zeiss lens distorts the image, which is particularly noticeable in portrait shots!

Fulvia Zagato, with the rear hatch completely closed for a change!
There were several examples of the 131, including a full rally-spec car hosting a picnic (not my first choice for a picnic hamper, but there you go). This was my favourite.
And so to the test hill to round off the day – I say round off, I ran out of film, so couldn't get any pictures of the yellow '72 Pantera that turned up just before the show ended (that is for another day).
This is the other Iso Rivolta GT blasting up the hill, somewhat sideways. This car is running a 454 c.i. Chevy V8 (that's nearly 7.5 litres, in place of the usual 5.3).
So that was it. Hopefully next year I will be back with the Nova.

That Fiat 500 with Alfa lump, the little Lotus Europa, Iso's, the 131 reminded me of my mates one in the same colour
(what a good choice of colour Ha ! Ha!) . Lambo Espada for the dream garage.
The Weird Ferrari shooting brake used to be owned by a French guy who used to collect shooting brakes, he used to have a black one based on a Daytona. Is it still green with a gold roof?
Some pretty Lancias and Fiats as well.
I need to come to this show next year.

Here you go, this was the Daytona based thing. I think the other one was based on a 330 chassis.

The Mangusta is a recent restoration by De Tomaso expert restorer Johnny Woods. Like a lot of De Tomasos, this one is rolling on replica Campags, made by Group 4 wheels. This same style of wheel was also produced for Fiat 131 and Porsche 911 rally cars. I did think about buying a set for the Nova...
