My Sud was filmed today for Wheeler Dealers

nice one dave, at least they picked a decent chap for the owners car bit

wonder how they've got on with the refresh, remember seeing it at kings lynn auction when they bought it, wasn't the best example.
will be interesting to see what they declare....

Well done, did they drive your car or did they film you?
Any idea when it is going to be shown?

They drove the car themselves behind a specially adapted tracking vehicle. They also strapped cameras onto it too and took loads of stills.
We were filming from 9.15 to 6pm all for a 50 second clip.
They said the car that they were working on was finished but had been challenging due to poor quality body repairs which had been done previously.
It is due to be shown around October and they think it will the second one shown in the new series.
We filmed around the Cat & Fiddle road in the Peak District so the scenery should be good.
They were a very professional team of 4.

I enjoyed the first two episodes of the latest series on Quest (I think they are about 2-3 years old before they get onto Freeview), so I will look out for this one in 2017

Great pictures there Dave, the Sud looks impressive. The pictures are like those in a new car sales brochure..

Do you know who the production crew has spoken to(in Alfasud circles), and who they used for help for the program?

I didn't meet either Mike Brewer nor Ed China. Surprisingly (not) Ed China does very little of the restoration work.

I do not appear in any of the film footage nor any of the stills.

The car will be famous not me!

I'm not sure who they used for reference re: Alfasuds but they were still learning about them on the day.

I have a set of pictures at full resolution (about 16mb each) without the copyright bit on the bottom.

Iv not seen any black cloverleaf's up for sale recently so i wonder how they advertised it after the rebuild, be interesting to see what they got for it and who bought it?

loads of interesting things to find out about the show.

i could try and upload it to youtube...but it is me trying to do something computer wise that makes me say try

I was going to see if I can get wheeler dealers on my laptop so fingers crossed.

Every new episode until now is posted on youtube the next day by some good chaps, so I can watch them. However they always get deleted soon because of copyright violated.
I read an interview with Edd and Mike in a Dutch car magazine yesterday and the Sud was mentioned, it was much worse rust wise than they had thought! Also they also want to show some interesting more or less unique aspects of a car and with the Sud they spent time on the front brakes. Looking forward, seems impossible to make a profit on this one!
