Looks superb. I'm wondering why he hasn't opted to paint the bottom of the doors black like it would come out of the factory, probably prefers it that way? I'm having my Sud resprayed at the end of the month and I'm weighing up whether or not to have mine painted with that black lower third.

be very interesting to see what this goes for.
very tidy car but far from original, which usually claims a higher premium.
1.7 8V is a nice upgrade, outboard front brakes though so wonder if it has a sprint/33 back axle with hand-brake?

Has this been on before and didn't make the reserve?

Yeah £5300, it seems to be what a very good 'Sud goes for. That white one went for 4400 I think recently.

Whilst they're criminally undervalued I have seen very little evidence of any Sud going for more than £5500-6000, however good it is. Maybe a mint or concourse series 1 Ti might make 7 or even 8k, (I think Richard Bremner's old S1 might have done) I'm just not seeing the 10k 'Sud yet.

There is what looks like a mint Green Cloverleaf on at 8.5 that's been kicking around autotrader/ebay for months seemingly without any interest. Someone s trying a Sprint at 13k and there doesn't seem to be much happening there either.

If anyone knows of any 'Suds changing hands for more than 8k in the UK I'd be interested to hear it. I'm not saying they shouldn't be worth decent money, If my car was worth a few bob course I'd be quite pleased.
