Good to see the Alfa badge on this year's Ferrari and associated corporate material:-

Was just about to post this... Bit mysterious as to why..
Considering FIAT is about to spin Ferrari from their business portfolio.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Alfa back in F1 in the coming years, FIAT will have to do something with Masarati or Alfa and Motorsport, after they get rid of Ferarri.
Think the Ferrari public IPO is due for March.

Fiat will retain controlling shares of Ferrari - which will hopefully save it from becoming an investors play thing! The presence of the Alfa badge is obviously a reversal of the Scuderia's beginnings which of course were Alfa Romeos with the Ferrari scudetto on the bonnet - a nice nod to history even if it's a current marketing tool

No, they won't.
The company is being spun, therefore it won't be owned by FCA.
!0% of the company is being offered as public IPO, and the reaming 90% will be split by the shareholders.
Essentially the Agnelli family will have the majority shareholding, FCA will have nothing to do with it.

You're right, I've just checked the comment I read a while ago (which said otherwise) but it was wrong.

It's good news for Alfa Romeo IMO
FCA will now use either Maserati or Alfa in motorsport, and whilst putting the Alfa logo on the Ferrari may seem fairly insignificant, this is the last F1 season they will be in control of the team, so would suggest that they might be looking to use Alfa's in motorsport.
