Hi all

I am removing and selling my 1.2ti gearbox at some point soon, so it will be up for grabs.

The box was rebuilt by BLS, and has covered approximately 50-60 miles since being installed!

Obviously, all issues were worked out of it, so this a lovely quiet, slick and smooth box, with all the close ratio's folk want from the holy grail box of cogs!


I'm only selling it to fund a replacement box with different ratios more akin to my use for the car, and selling it at notably less than the initial purchase cost plus rebuild.

a bargain.

you can't buy a used one and get it refurbished to this high standard for the money, i know.....i've done it several times now before selling them on at a loss


i can only confirm what shrew says. the box is in mint condition. no bearing noises, new ones were fitted. no leaks, no synchro crunching, a perfect gearbox.

Me thinks the black/white sud will be on the road for the summer as track toy...............1.7 8v engine, this gearbox, vented front discs, rev rfx's 14's, full roll cage, gtv front seats and harness.....but do I just weld and leave the paintwork or have it resprayed as well

Sounds like a good plan for it Chris.

Personally, i think it would be great to paint it again the way it is, black through to white, as its been that way for many years now and is quite well known for it.

It kinda grew on me, and eventually i loved the scheme, but maybe you can put a twist into it to make it your own flavour?

I still physically have it but Alfachris has his name on it unless he tells me otherwise.

Unsurprisingly, i think he wants to get Christmas out the way first

I've got others marco, not quite the same or freshly rebuilt, but i do have other spare gearboxes if you know specifically what youre after fir final drive etc?

i have 2 1.2 ti 'boxes in unknown condition.....
