Headlinning kits

Hi Guys & Girls,
Just a post to let you know that I have been in touch with Max at Alfaholics.
As some of you may already know, he supplied me with an excellent quality kit for my ti resto. It came with everything needed to replace the original, but most important, it was the correct "snakebite" pattern perforation.
I had a professional fit it for me as I didn't want to mess it up.
Max has told me that he can still get them made to order.
Hope this is of help to any of you out there who will need to replace this item. Mine was superb quality.
I do not have a price, but if interested, drop Max a line, he is always quick to reply and most helpful.
Keith

i'm not overly happy with my own attempt to make one

Hi guys, I thought you two would be interested.
I found Max true to his word when I got mine, and even said that a couple of friends were restoring similar cars when I contacted him last Saturday.
If you go on their site, there is a direct address for him. Maybe he could get you a better deal on a multiple order. I just thought after you showed interest in my kit, I would enquire if they were still available before telling people he could get them.
Price wise, mine was bought about four years ago and cost about £110 from memory, but don't quote me on that as it was a while ago. He also asked if they had any seat fabric, but they couldn't help there.
If you have a look at their site..... check out their build projects, they are superb.
My fitting cost me £70, but Sudboy1490, Colin, got one fitted a bit cheaper and I presume it was somewhere more your neck of the woods, if that helps.

mine has the full width webasto roof though which may make it more tricky...

yeah thats a great price for the proper snake bite pattern lining. Unfortunately my trimmer holed my headling fitting the passenger side grab handle

so i may well be looking to get one ordered up from italy sometime in the near future.
id be interested in a group buy if we could get a good price!!

I would also be interested in purchasing a headlining for my 78 Super resto if we can obtain a bulk buy discount for forum members.

So how many headlining kits do we collectively want to order then?
Once we confirm the answer to the above question I would be happy to give Max at Alfaholics a call to see what he can do for us on the basis of a multi unit order. Once we have an acceptable price I would be happy to place the order with everyone's name and delivery address details.
Suggest it would be best if payments were made directly to Alfaholics by each forum member who has requested to place an order. That way no one has to take responsibility for other peoples money.
What's the consensus on the best way forward with this?

i'm up for one.
i have the webasto full size roof though so don't know if that makes any odds....or if it would just need cutting out around it?

So far looking at members posts it seems there would be orders for 4 x headlining kits.
We just need to agree the way forward to negotiate best price and place an order.
