Oulton Park Sat 25th October - AROC race 1

Congratulations to Tim on his decisive victory in his white Sud Sprint. A great drive on a damp and unpredictable track. Malcolm had a great drive for his first race finishing in second. Will had a spin while attacking Tim and Malcolm on the damp outside of a corner. He got back on to the track in last place and fought through the field setting the fastest lap to finish third - an inspirational drive. The difficult conditions were highlighted by the GT Cup cars spinning off the track plus a multiple pile up. Thanks to Richard for arranging everything.

Had a great day at Oulton, race 1 was good to watch, the two Sprints side by side at one point as they headed into a bend..thrilling stuff!

Well done Tim - was good to see you and chat on Saturday morning. Also well done to Malcolm at his first race - especially for quickest in quali in those tricky conditions! Hope you can sort your gearbox issues Simon.

Thanks all, it was a good day overall.
I just hope that the aroc see fit to arrange more next year as the events have been friendly affairs (paddock and racing).
