Hi all

i visited John at Just Suds yesterday, for various reasons and hours of catching up etc but whilst there, i was shown a Series 1 1186cc Sud that could make someone a real peach!

The car is in very good solid for mainly, with a great rear quarters, front and back panel etc, screen scuttles are solid with a previous repair visible, door pillars floor etc all similarly good.

Outer door skins, front wings are not so pretty, and would be best replaced, but of course you'd be in the right place for those sort of things! :D

John has enough parts, panels etc to sell it as a really good viable kit/project, and at a price that would well be worth the investment and time considering todays current climate of climbing values.

Discuss here of course if you wish, or deal directly with John at Justsuds.

good luck.....

Sorry to divert here, but do you have a number for John? Someone from Alfashop gave me a number for someone called Karl at justsuds, I've spoken to him and he seems very helpful, but no one else I've spoken to knows him, maybe he's on this forum. In any case he seemed cool.

Thanks Shrew, - good to see you yesterday, - white series 1 1186 ti, 1976 ish as it has bonded glass, but registered in 1978 on an 'S'. Been off the road 16 years, I was intending to do it myself, but already have a few ( too many ) projects, - interior is very poor, but I have series 2 trim that could be included. It's a sound basis for a project, but does need lots of work.
Thanks, John.

I've also seen this one.

The photos don't do it justice, it's even better in the flesh than the photos show.

As John said it needs work but it's a pretty good base to start from.
