Morning peeps
Went there yesterday for the second year in a row. All I can say is wow . It's a must for all petrol heads.Classic race bikes and cars from 1900. right up to the modern stuff. The major plus with goodwood is you can go rite up and touch this stuff. Only a very small part of it is closed off from getting your greasy mitts on them .
One of the high lights you me, was seeing Damon hill back in his 96 championship winning Williams f1 car
Sir Stirling Moss sir jacky Stewart John surtees Hamilton kimi to name a few!
The hill climb gives you a chance to get up close and personal with theses cars and bikes . Bit scary when these cars get a bit twitchy coming toward you
Roll on 2015

Yup, I was there on Friday. Fantastic day, the promised bad weather never showed up, got a bit burnt instead!
Highlights for me were the Mazda RX500 concept from 1971, McLaren M6 GT road car (one of only 4), wide tyre Mangusta and Miura, Canberra and Hunter air display and the new Alfa 4C understeering off the road at Molecomb. That's mid-engine chassis dynamics for you - still it has been nearly 50 years since their last effort...
Also on track, McLaren M8F Can-Am, Lancia 037, Delta S4, Alpine A310 (my favourite frog), plus many more. Some nice Alfas too but only the GTAm ventured out on Friday. All captured on 35mm by my trusty commie cam (I hope - pictures back from the developers at the weekend)

Morning Lauren
The hunter Canberra and typhoon did there stuff on Sunday too. Great display
The gtam was out on Sunday , but sadly had a gearbox problem going up the hill. Should of guessed you'd like the Mazda
Still never made to the rally stage area . That's on the list for next year for sure!!

Nice pictures of the old race bike there JB, the good old two stroke beasts!
plus, thats where the Petronas bikes went? the bikes that should never had raced!
big shame about them, they showed great promise on paper, but characters and personalities were never going to quite finish it off to fruition
Sounded nice though, and i wouldn't say no!

Yeah I knew you'd like the two strokes . Ie king kenny's

i wanted to talk more with Chris Wilson who owns them, but then one mechanics fired up his Ducati and what that
I did like foggies petronis bikes , had to touch one

you have to go next year chap it's unreal . Plus being a biker , the legends are just walking around in the pits

Thanks John - I think you will agree, we need more early Japanese concept cars to enrich our lives. I'm thinking Toyota EX-1, EX-3 and especially EX-7 (the latter based on a 5-litre Can-Am style racer), Isuzu Bellet MX1600, Nissan 126X... ahh, the list could go on and on...

I saw that - this very irritating man bounced around, saying how great the styling was etc. etc. and then told us that the car had been designed exclusively for some video game that a load of nerds were playing next door and how we all ought to go play it too. I just walked away - it's a sad day when concept cars are only used to promote video games...
Speaking of video games, I understand there is even a version of the FOS course available; pick your car (perhaps the future Skyline, the real one can't move because nobody put an engine in it) and you too can have an off at Molecomb corner!
