Hi all I thought I would say hello and show you my little project !! It's a well known car or is it seems to be off the internet although I don't think it's in quite the same condition that it was several years ago . The car had been sitting in a yard for some time the engine was full of water and it was a little sad car . I bought it and with the help of someone with a sense of humour we have started sorting the car out as you do !!! .
The engine has been fully stripped down we couldn't believe how much water and rust could come from one engine .
All the bushes are needing replacing and we aim to get as much as we can powdered coated to protect it from the Elements .
I will keep updating as we go along or not as the case might be .

We have to do some welding and put it all back together but Caldwell should be on. I aim to make the car more usable i am putting an interior back in but it still should be very light and good on a track .

I will get more pictures at the weekend but the cars head gasket went we think because of blocked water ways filled with rust but we might be wrong . Rust has taken hold in the sills engine cross member and few other places but I guess that goes with the territory but we aim to put it back to its former glory .

That's possibly the worst I've seen! amazing!

Nice to see that car back, I remember I was going to buy that but was too late to the party, and it was sold when I made contact.

You can strike one item off the list, an '83 car didn't require rear seatbelts.
