Hi.

I have looked at this a few times and finally cleaned it up to find the word Arbarth on it.

But what is it ? Did it fit on a car carb to the filter. Came with the Sud and has obviously been raced.

Hi J. I’d say it’s an adaptor to fit a cold air feed to the carburettor. Instead of just feeding the carb with warm air from the engine bay this would allow you to feed cold air via a pipe from the outside probably Fiat 500 /595. I’m pretty sure it’s unlikely to be anything to do with a sud

Thank you for that. I wanted to make sure I had a bit more idea of what it was before I do anything with it.

I wonder if it went to the single carb mine had on at one time when it was running a turbo. Thanks again.

Ahh if it’s had a Turbo on it that would most certainly make sense
