Windscreen Removal

This hot weather does have its uses. I have had a few goes at trying to remove the windscreen on my Sprint Veloce over the last year but been frightened to use to much force. It occurred to me that the rubber seal would be more pliable in the heat and for once I was right. I was able to push the seal back behind the lip in the frame without to mush trouble. Next the dash will have to come out.

Unfortunately the small worker elves inside my PC keep turning the photo upside down.

I have similar issues with pictures, no obvious reason why it happens.
That's a fine piece of tin worm you have there. Trouble is, the more you look, the more you find! And not where you expect to as has been discovered this week on my car (if it can be called that). Good luck!

I have had the car since 2002 when I offered it as an MOT failure for £250. I couldn't let it get crushed and so stored it in my mothers garage thinking I would soon patch it up and run it for a few years.
It was only on the road for thirteen years and its been garaged now for twenty. So its not to bad body wise, for a Sprint that is, and I have repaired the sills and wheel arches. Only the rear roof and the two corners of the windscreen to do and I will have a solid body shell ! But I need a good pair of front wings. At the rate I work at I am sure yours will be on the road well before my car tastes the tarmac again. Not least as I am also rebuilding my 75TS and an MX5. But I am now motivated again to finish the Sprint as I was having trouble trying to get the screen out in one piece.
