Hello all! I’m trying to help a chap in Southern Ireland who is restoring an Alfasud SC. He needs a tank which I have but I believe I need an EORI (economic operators registration and identification number). Seems a bit much to have to go through so many hoops to send an old part to Ireland. Has anyone else had to apply for an EORI, is it worth it? Thanks.

A retired Irish guy lives nearby, and calls for a chat sometimes.

He said he couldn't fly to Dublin to visit his old Mother without restrictions.

But, if he wanted to, he could fly to Belfast, hire a car, and drive to the South to see her.

But as she died two years ago, he doesn't need to!

If that isn't Irish, I don't know what is.
