Did very early Suds have screenwashers?
In the front of Haynes there is a photo of a 1973 Sud.....I can see the screenwash nozzles.
But no sign of them on the early wiring diagram?

Seems there was a manual push on the dash on very early cars.

Yes, i believe they had a manual pump. That is why some S1 indicator stalks do not have the button on the end.

Not many of us remember manual screen washers!

There were 2 sets of early column switches on ebay....NOS.
£35 each.
Didn't have the screenwash button on the end, but I was prepared to wire that to a seperate switch, or put a manual one on.
Until someone in Oz bought both sets overnight!
I think my Dads Mk1 Cortina had manual screenwash push button.......but the 60's are a long time ago!

I remember being giving a lift to swimming lessons by a friends dad back in the early ‘70s it was raining and the Ford pop where where in had wipers driven by engine vacuum! At idle they barely moved!
