Have I got a lhd passenger mirror? It was great for a passenger to see rearward but there's no way I could get it anywhere near useful for the driver until I did this bodge! And still the quarter light bar goes straight in the middle view.

Mine is exactly the same.
My car didnt come with a passenger door mirror as standard as its 83 built.
So not a requirement.... but door was drilled and a cover plate fitted.
I got a passenger side mirror from Jeff at southern Alfa in the 90s.... and it also is good for passenger but useless for driver..

I made the same mistake with the integrale, found myself a good drivers (lhd) door mirror as I couldn't find a good passenger one in UK. Proud of it until I couldn't see anything out of it, then dawned on me from the passenger seat it is perfect, like it would be for a lhd drivers seat

If I get the doorcard off I'll remove it and bodge the swivel part so it isn't fixed in the one position . I thought it was a bit of a bodge how it was fixed on ,it mustn't have had one when new.

As i say i bought my passenger side mirror from a uk breaker.... so there is no reason to think it came from a left hand drive car.... he was a guy in southampton.
A friend had a B reg car and his had 2 mirrors.... but mine on an A had only one.
But door was drilled.i guess doors are drilled during their manufacture process and could end up on right or left hand drive cars.
I put it down to the fact that Alfa prob just bolted the mirrors on and didnt worry... as you say the divider splits the view of the mirror .
Can't say i have ever heard of lhd / Rhd integrale mirrors in 18 years of ownership..
I assumed they were just better thought out as they all came with 2 mirrors even the early normal deltas. .. as far as i remember. And no quarter light of course...
When i worked out mirror positions on my new doors last year i put them on the car so they were in the same place as my original doors.... the passenger has been useless for 27 years.... so i dont really miss it.
Cheers.

The thing with lhd or rhd mirrors is if you sit in the passenger seat it's perfect, which of course would be drivers seat, my integrale is rhd so I need to get non integrale mirrors..
