Birthdays.

E Mailed Alfa on Wednesday to find out the Birthday of my Alfetta. Superb service as I got a reply back on Thursday afternoon telling me the build date, UK delivery date, colour, trim etc.
Seems that the cold hand of fate is stalking me though. Build date is the 27 May, same as my ex wife's birthday.......

Well so far the Alfetta is treating me a lot better than the ex !!!

Yes, very quick and very helpful, I recommend that everyone that has a classic Alfa spends five minutes to send him an E Mail. You never know you may need it in case our glorious government change the VED exemption rules to something which may be of use to more of us.

a good point about using the info for a future tax rebate/exemption as my own sud has a build date of sept '76 from marco's records but dvla didn't register it new until jan '77............wonder which one they will believe

Mine's an even longer gap Kev, born Feb'83 and reg in Dec. Think she was used as a demonstrator.

at least its in the same year mate, my issue might be in proving it qualifies for free road tax if it does roll over in a couple of years
