For as long as I've known, where the BLS team and Alfa Romeo Sud, 33 etc race car performed, one particular Shrubb family friend and firm fan also went.

It is with a heavy sigh that i have to announce that Ralph Bee has seen his last race.

Hearing the news of his passing yesterday from Tom Shrubb, was deeply saddening , whilst not unexpected.

Ralph had been ill since late last year, and whilst the hospital struggled with diagnosis and treatment, Ralph was succumbing ever more to the impact of what was essentially liver cancer to the best of my knowledge.

A lovely natured, quiet spoken gent, i always found him entertaining to chat with, a library and archive of Alfa series racing history, and just an all round great chap.

The paddock gossip and trailer tea's will not be the same without him, and my thoughts and best wishes go out to his family and close friends.

Rest in peace Ralph Bee, on behalf of the forum and team, you are already missed...

Sounds like a great guy . RIP

I haven't known him for a long time, he has always showed up to our meets and on the chats I had with him he always told me something new that I didn't know and had always brightened up the mood so sad to see him go and be coming anymore.

RIP Ralph. I remember seeing him around the paddock Always offering help and support to Tom And Bryan.
A Sad loss indeed. My thoughts are with Ralph’s family and Friends at This time .
