Here is an odd one guys, what do you make of this?
Looks pretty sound but a bit of a "mish mash".
Could make a good usable car either way.

Keeping an eye on this - in my watch there's also a green Beta coupe.

I'm sure I've seen that one advertised somewhere before (possibly not in the UK) - the state of those rear seats looks very familiar.

Hell of a mix of parts.
Really didn't know there ever was any injection suds on the continent?
Loads of S3 bits, some S2 bits like dash, crossover model era.
Injection bit throws me though... Can't recall ever seeing one in books..

kev and keith are being kind, its a s2 end of run with the s3 trim so late 1980 to 1981 ish ?
its never been a green clover leaf. Not sure about the seats or where from, and injection appeared circa 88/89 ?
no offence to the seller, but at 5k for a mixed up lhd, they will have that on their books for a long time in the uk.

The term “Heinz 57” springs to mind.

Still think it could make a nice car.
Do you think a 33 donated the leather and engine? Like others have said, a mixture of bits, and I would not know what was available in Europe, but did the fuel injection become available on all engine sizes in the 33 range or just the 1.7 ?
Body does look like an S3 as I know there were a few early ones still with a boot.
