I have just replaced the oil pressure sender unit on my Sud with this one I got from Ebay
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Kerr ... SwcnpdSuHC
It works great and is the correct thread and pressure range.
The only thing is that it does not earth through the body so you will have to attach an earth lead.
The good thing is that there is an earth point just near where it fits.
Great for £8.06 and works well.

Purchased and fitted. Never had the Guage read such good pressure. The old one was leaking through the body crimp and obviously not doing much.

Does your car have the Jaeger or Veglia Borletti instruments?

Well installed last night and quite a difference. thanks for the tip off chaps.
Also - and the purists will e horrified a this - but had to devise an alternative method of putting in a crankcase breather outlet as it was missing on my car. In short, managed to drill a 10mm hole in to the oil filler neck - stuffed with cloth to make sure no swarf went down there. Screwed in a compressor tool connection and sealed in place with quick steel. Seems to work OK

A bit of a thread resurrection. While rebuilding my engine I managed to snap the connecting lugs off my replacement unit. Does anybody know the OEM part number (and spec if possible) for the boxer pressure transmitter so I can cross reference to try to find another replacement. The one mentioned in the thread - Kerr Nelson SOP 141 - seems to be NLA. I presume a number of different manufacturers used the same spec unit.
Thanks again

Alfa original Part number is 60537246 or 545041
Not sure about the spec.
