Nice one !!
Good to see the "Green Machine" out and about.
It has been many years since I last saw it.

Crikey! That was quick - when you posted those pictures I hadn't even got home!

Yes, it was a really good event, and the torrential rain that I had to drive through to get there was at least a useful test of my heater and demisting system (it did cope... just).

Here's a few snaps from the day...

Grid formation for the parade lap (which the organisers kindly let me join!)

Smooth...

Another green car...

Bling...

Wheels didn't do it for me, but the rest of the preparation on this Alfetta was class, right down to the single GTV instrument pod and the screen vents supported in mid-air...

Front... Headlamp covers finally cleared after the lights were on for a bit.

Alex Jupe's Marlboro car (you may remember it from Auto Italia)

It might look like a fried egg sandwich, but this car was fast...

Some lovely looking machines there Lauren, thanks for the pictures.
Like the rough and smooth Giulias ,and first Alfetta on the grid looks stunning, and of course the Nova. :D

Here are some of the pictures snapped by Ken Carrington of the Nova on the parade lap. One of the Nova forum members implied that I should be ashamed of myself for taking part in an Alfa-only parade lap, so I hope I haven't offended anyone

Good for you Lauren.
If you were invited to take part why not? Some people get too obsessed with the "fight" . Anyway, your car is a re engineered Alfa based Nova, let them trundle around a parade lap at the VW bug jam !! ;)
A reward for your years of labour.

Yep, tolerance makes things more enjoyable for all of us. The reason I shall be leaving the Alfa owners club and sticking with the local historic vehicle club where we tease each other about the faults of each make and enjoy it.

Great pics, I like the Alfetta’s , the Marlboro one was owned and raced by a chap called Bob Trotter.

The nova looks cool, great colour and nice proportions.

Was the name of person who implied you shouldn’t have taken part ‘Richard Cranium’ by any chance ? :D
