Hi Guys
A newbe to the forum just thought I'd say hello to you all. Had a busy day today a drive from not so sunny Suffolk up to Nottinghamshire To visit Shrew and take a 33 P4 off his hands, he's well worth a visit too top class tea and breakfast cob can never be sniffed at!! The 33 is pretty tasty too but having been told there's a road trip to Italy in the pipe line I don't think the girlfriend is going to be seeing much of me over the next few months!
Anyways hope to be able to speak with you all soon

Welcome aboard mate, nice choice of car and yes, a road trip is talked of for next year should enough of us get our fingers out!

Ma Shrew does make a fine brekkie that's for sure ;)

Be great to see the P4 up and running, keep us updated with progress. Loads of advice on here as I found when doing my 33 qv.
What's the plan for it, keep as original, modify, colour? or yet to dicide.

Welcome to the forum.
Glad the P4 will be getting the love she needs. (I presume it is the red one)
As said, keep us updated and if you have time, go through the old threads as there is lots of help and knowledge on here.

Hope to keep you all updated as much as possible with pictures throughout the resurrection, Not sure on how far I'm going to go with it as yet it won't be be a concourse restoration as I want to be able to use it and not go into some kind of melt down if it happens to start raining whilst were out on a run  probably end up being tidier than your average road car with some light mods, Its a long awaited replacement for a series 2 coverleaf sportwagon I used to own (long story as to why that car is no more) and a nice addition to the 147 Q2 :D

Welcome to the madhouse Rew!

I know i'm repeating myself, but great to meet you and the better half, and even better to know the good plans you have for the P4.

It'll make a cracking car, hopefully for as little outlay as possible, which by the sounds of it you're tackling 99.9% of it yourself, Good Man :D

I suspect that Matt, although initially disheartened by the forced sale of losing some storage space, will still ultimately be pleased to know the car will be well finished Rew,

Don't let him down!

Oh god the pressure! well if it comes out like I'm picturing in my head all will be good can't wait to get started on it, I'm very tempted to do a colour change I don't know what and it wouldn't be anything to out there but would be nice to have something a little different but then it's not original and I do like the Alfa Red  And so it begins! what have i got myself into :o
