Hi all

what we have here is a professionally engineered and rebuilt oversized 1300 block, now 1371cc, with polished crank, refurbished rods, new bottom end bearings, pistons and rings.

this cost over £500 in 2010, as a trade price, by Specialised Engineering Services Ltd, and an invoice will be included in the sale.

this short engine simply never made it back into the car it was for, but has been kept and cared for, oiled, and turned over very regularly.


this would make a lovely replacement for anyone with 12/1300cc cars, but also a great basis for 1400cc class hillclimb and sprint cars.


the owner (a very well known AROC member and hillclimb sprint driver of previous years, ) is looking for £300 ono, and no mickey takers!

Sorry Hi - Jacked an old thread, but seemed the simplest way to do this! If thats not good form let me know and I won't do it again!

I now have that short engine, and it is still in great condition, turned over by hand and oiled regularly. I was going to build it up, but have decided to go down the 1.7 route. I know it didn't sell on here before. Offers or swap for downdraft 40's, may consider other interesting parts for my rebuild - I need just about everything!
