Hello All,
I purchased this engine a few years ago, its been dry stored since.
This engine was built for class B of the alfa romeo championship
and was going to be fitted to an alfa 145, i have come to the conclusion
that i will probaly never have use for it, spec as follows.
The Bottom End,
Block was crack tested, all threads cleaned and studs removed, all core plugs removed.
Bores honed and glazed,
Oil and water galleys grit blasted clean,
Block acid washed in proper cleaning tank,
New core plugs,
Four coats of red engine laquer
New shells and main bearings,
Crank, rod, pistons, front pulley and flywheel dynamically balanced.
New OEM gaskets used through out,
New water pump.
Heads
Fully gas flowed and ported / polished by Dave Ashford of Brunswick Motorsport.
Heads skimmed 0.15mm
Stock cams and buckets used.
Spresso race head gaskets.
Dellorto 40mm throttle bodies ported to match heads,
Carbon Fibre Trumpets to match air flow.
It as a few storage marks but these don,t distract from the overall appearance.
I also have a choice of fueling and engine management.,
1, Standard injectors with bosch ecu, wiring loom and all sensors,
2, Standard injectors with emerald ecu.
2, twin 40s carburettors with custom manifolds and distributor.(or emerald ecu)
3, twin 48,s with custom splayed inlet manifolds and emerald ecu,
(emerald ecu requires checking, ive spoken to Dave Walker at Emerald and he says its not a problem)
No sure what this is worth, open to sensible offers.
