Here we have a rare set of parts, taken from a formerly functioning and driving Alfa Romeo 33 Permanent 4 all wheel drive.


It comprises of the 4 wheel drive gearbox, rearward prop shaft and viscous coupling.


The gearbox behaves as expected and as stated, was driving as normal prior to removal from the car. The shaft is just a mechanical shaft, and looks in good order, the viscous coupling appear good but for one weak rubber bracket, which are now replaceable thankfully.

Hi. I'm after these exact parts for my 1993 AR 33 P4. My car has had the viscous coupling and prop shafts removed long ago, no doubt when the mounts crapped out. I have been searching periodically for replacement parts to get the car back to original as all P4s in NZ are now FWD only and there are NO used parts available anywhere.

I recently bought a pallet of P4 drive-line parts, including a viscous coupling (VC) from Alex (33 Bits) on another forum which has just now arrived and was in contact with him to acquire another VC and 2 4x4 ECUs but haven't heard from him lately. I guess he is very busy as it was a bit of a slog to finalise the bits he could ship to me and I get the impression he had very little time to help me.

I'd be very keen to buy these parts (gearbox, shaft and VC) as well as the AR Speedline rims and the set of Ronal rims. Would you be able to clean all the parts thoroughly and palletise (strap and wrap) the bits and organise shipping from your end to me in NZ? Of course I'd pay all costs and accept all risk. Also, I'm still after 2 x 4x4 ECUs and a P4 engine ECU if you have them or could give me a lead as to where to chase them down.

I'd totally understand if you'd rather sell locally for the sake of less hassle factor so let me know what you think. Cheers

I still have the p4 parts as listed, and the speedline ti alloys, and I'll help however i can with palletising and shipping for you.

As for the ronal wheels, did you mean the A1 alloys in gold?

If so, i listed them on behalf of a fellow member, colin, sudboy1490, so you would have to ask him if he still has them or not.

The rest of the list you're after, ecu's etc, blimey, bad timing, i sold a lot of that sort of stuff just a few months ago, but I'll double check to make sure theres nothing i missed for you..
