I think I have found a source for these.

How many do you need?

You have? That's great. I need sixteen of them.

Is that the full compliment? I forgot to count the holes in mine yesterday.

I forgot to say, the price is 3 EUR each.

The full compliment is twenty. I already had four of them myself and I wish I'd taken the chance to buy more of them when I purchased them several years ago!
3 EUR apiece isn't that bad when you consider that any restoration couldn't be completed without them.

Well, obviously these items are in short supply and have been unobtainable for years so, after speaking with John Christopher at Justsuds, we've decided to do something about it.

3D printing is the way to go. My restoration can't be completed without the clips so why not?

The first attempt wasn't at all bad (see photo). They need tweaking where they fit through the panels but we'll get there!

Now that is just brilliant Colin. Kev would have probably recycled some Lego. Seriously though who knows where this could go. I expect a comment from Lauren.

i'd have tried melting the lego blocks with an acetylene torch probably tony :D

seriously though, the 3D printer thing is a really great thing if such things can be reproduced

Hats off to John at Justsuds for offering to give this a go. We really are fortunate to have nice blokes like him around to help us.

3D printing is definitely the way to go for these parts. I bought the sunroof release surround for my GTV6 and it was 3D printed. I'm looking into this at the moment as it could solve a lot of issues.

Are you able to produce with the 'gap' in the back of the button? I think they need to be flexible / compressible to allow the trim to come on and off without damaging it?
