Font suspension straps?

Does anyone have any photos of straps they are using to limit the travel of their front suspension? The sort of thing that is needed to limit travel to stop lowered springs 'falling out'. Where do people attach them and what material is best to use?

I havnt got any pics, but I cut the ends off a ratchet strap and used that on the front looped under the front arm and bolted to the inner wheel arch, I think I picked up a pre drilled hole where the steering arm comes through.
No need to go over tight, just enough to stop the spring dropping out, some movement is fine.
Rears I can't remember fully as someone else used wire loops, but I'll take a look at the weekend. I think the spring seat is drilled on the axle and chassis and the wire is then looped over the top coil and bottom coil respectively but I'll check.

he front and back i used an old seatbelt.
passed it through where the steering arm comes into wheelarch and under the leading suspension arm.
Just drilled and bolted together the 2 ends of strap.
On the back on the beam axle (sud )there is a oblong hole on the side of the spring seat.
drilled a hole in the outer end and bolted strap in place.
on the top spring seat area there is a small trinagular brace onto the body. drilled an hole in that and bolted other end of the strap.

Indeed....now I remember that we did the same in my first sud at the rear using ratchet strap material.

Thanks for the pointers. I have an out of date harness, I could use some of that.
I did wonder about using the steering arm hole. Does the strap not travel around too much it it's only secured to itself in a loop?

they dont wander too much.
I have bolted the up and down sides of the strap together before now which stops the wander.

Yes, of course. That makes total sense. I have some webbing now so will give it a go.
